Why We Do This

Understanding the purpose and principles behind our educational platform.

Making Financial Information Accessible

Financial information about savings instruments in Mexico exists in many places—official government websites, regulatory documents, bank brochures. However, this information is often presented in technical language that can be difficult for everyday people to understand.

We created Verio Financial to bridge this gap. Our platform takes information from official sources like Banxico, CONSAR, and CNBV and explains it in simple, clear language that anyone can understand.

We believe that when people understand how different savings instruments work, they can make more informed decisions about their own financial situations.

How We Approach Our Work

Neutral Information

We do not recommend one savings instrument over another. Each person's financial situation, goals, and circumstances are unique. What works well for one person may not be appropriate for another.

Our role is to explain how different options work and what their general characteristics are. The decision about which option to use is yours to make based on your own situation.

Official Sources

All information on our platform comes from official regulatory sources and government institutions. We cite Banco de México (Banxico), the National Commission for the Retirement Savings System (CONSAR), and the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV).

We do not create financial information ourselves. We gather, organize, and explain information that already exists in official sources.

Educational Focus

This platform exists purely for educational purposes. We explain concepts, describe characteristics, and provide comparisons to help people understand their options.

We do not collect savings, intermediate financial transactions, or provide financial services of any kind. We are an information resource, not a financial institution.

What We Are Not

It's important to understand what Verio Financial does not do:

  • We do not collect or hold savings on behalf of anyone
  • We do not intermediate financial transactions
  • We do not provide financial advice or recommendations
  • We are not regulated as a financial institution because we do not perform financial services
  • We do not sell financial products or services

We are purely an educational information platform. If you want to open an account, invest in Cetes, join a tanda, participate in a savings cooperative, or make voluntary Afore contributions, you do that directly with the respective institution—not through us.

Keeping Information Current

Financial regulations and available savings instruments can change over time. We are committed to reviewing and updating the information on this platform regularly to ensure it reflects current conditions.

When regulations change or new information becomes available from official sources, we update our content accordingly. We always indicate when information was last reviewed.

However, we encourage you to verify any specific details directly with the relevant institution before making financial decisions. Official sources are always the most authoritative reference.
